*Tajvir Baloda -- my dear gentle oonth !!

A small Tribute!!!

It is with a heavy heart I recall the time I spent with Tajvir, as my cabin mate at INS Hansa Goa.... Between 1992 & 1995 we were staying in the same cabin until I was transferred to INS Garuda Kochi.... We had a wonderful time during that stay.... Tajvir being a towering personality with a deep growling voice was a person who generally people kept away from... definitely not to mess with.... But I guess very few people knew that he was actually a kid at heart... always playing pranks, pulling people's legs, always speaking his heart out (which made him mostly outspoken), straightforward and someone who never shied away from calling spade a spade. Sitting with him for a drinks session would often lead to long discussions on various subjects... He had loads of anecdotes to tell about his native place, Loharu, Rajasthan Haryana border I guess... With that typical Haryanvi accent the way he used to tell those stories is that only someone who could match that frequency could enjoy them thoroughly...... and I being a southerner would definitely enjoy them !!!!

There's so much to say, speak or write but I am finding it difficult to continue.........

It's extremely tough to come to terms with the fact that you are no more amongst us my dear little giant!!! But you will remain in our hearts forever!!!

Having left for the heavenly abode may you find eternal peace!!! All of our 87ians prayers are with you and for your family to give enough strength to bear this huge loss of our beloved!!!

On Shanthi Shanthi Shanthi!!!! ..

Deepest Condolences for the gentle giant - Tajveer.

So many stories he could churn out every time one interacted.

So much humour he could extract out of ordinary situations.

Every friend/ Every person one is emotionally connected with also lives within oneself. Whenever we will go back to old apprenticeship days/Navy days ,we will find him there.

May the soul rest in profound peace and May God bless the family with utmost strength to bear the loss....SD Singh

Tajvir was a guy who from 'A' term was close to me but a bit difficult to handle. Was thoroughly outspoken, kept nothing in his heart.

Somehow right from A term till CABS I shared a special relationship with him. He used to always reveal his mind to me on various issues. Used to ring me up almost every month and update on his son's progress in his career. He was very very fond of his son and dreamt big of him.

Though got into lot of issues in service after drinks, he managed to come out unharmed.

He was angry with me for not calling on him during my recent visit to Mumbai.

Was looking forward to meet him on my next Mumbai visit.

RIP Tajvir.... Will thoroughly miss you for the rest of my life... VS Kumar
Sad to inform you that Partner Tajvir Singh Baloda has passed away few hours back. I received a call from his son. He was on leave, attending a wedding in Rajasthan. His body is being carried to Haryana for cremation....DG Mistry
One may not be able to control the departure point but one has all the control to fill the time available before departure with lots of love and affection for family and friends. The bonding plant needs to be watered as frequently as possible, regularly

SD singh
