Salim Khan narrated the film Seeta aur Geeta to Rajesh Khanna,without the consent of producer G.P. Sippy. Rajesh Khanna did'nt like the story as it was more based on the female lead. He only wanted films where he was the main focus. Rajesh Khanna told Salim Khan that if he changed the script into male twins, he would do the film. Na Maangu Heera Chandi is not actually composed by Lakshmikant Pyarelal. In film Awara, background score music was of this tune during the swimming pool scene. The same tune was composed into a song by Shankar Jaikishen but was never used in any film of Raj Kapoor. Same tune was then lifted and recorded for Bobby, by Lakshmikant Pyarelal on the insistence of Raj Kapoor in 1972. Raj Kapoor was almost broke after the debacle of "Mera naam joker".He had to keep his wife's ornaments on gurentee for getting finance for making Bobby. Raj Kapoor didn't have a choreographer for the song "Main shayar to nahi" and told Rishi to do it how he wants, which confused Rishi, later he felt he was too stiff in the song but his father commented that if he used a choreographer he would perform like other stars, make your own style and be different. On the sets of Bobby Raj Kapoor gave a suit to Premnath for his character Jack Braganza on seeing the suit Premnath walked out of the studio and did not return for 2 hours which made everyone tense finally when he returned on the sets he had worn a fifteen year old suit which was to tight for him which made everyone laugh,Raj Kapoor asked him why did you not wear the suit I got stitched for you,Premnath's told Raj Kapoor the suit you stitched is good for film star Premnath and not for the character of Jack Braganza. While planning to make Bobby Raj Kapoor on dinning table with his family asked his wife Krishna if she will be fine if he casts Rishi Kapoor as hero of the film.Krshna Raj Kapoor gave her nod and Rishi Kapoor was sitting on the same table had his food in a hurry to go back to his room and started practicing autograph.
