On January 2, 1972, a team including professional crooks Bobby Comfort and Sammy Nalo—disguised with fake beards and glasses—took the staff of the Pierre Hotel in Manhattan hostage and rifled through the building’s safe deposit boxes, making off with around $3 million worth of stolen jewelry and cash. Luckily, this case had a happy ending: In February 2019, the jewels, valued at more than $7 million, were recovered on top of a garbage can outside of Stockholm. “Pretty Boy” Floyd, one of America’s most notorious bank robbers, on bank heists, he was known for destroying mortgage papers, consequently freeing hundreds of people from property debt. “Master idiot” Peter Scott was a burglar whose victims include Sophia Loren and the Shah of Iran. Disturbed during a heist by a woman, he shouted: “‘Everything’s all right, madam,’ and she went off to bed thinking I was the butler.” On other occasions, he would reassuringly shout “It’s only me!”. All these incidents clearly reveal that they require some great qualities like conception/planning/skill set/execution/innovation/team work/courage etc etc in abundance .The only problem lies with the activity being mostly unethical.
